Not as expectedI would classify the thickness of this flannel to be between a standard flannel and a sweatshirt. My only real gripe is that the inner surface of the fabric could be softer against the skin. The colors and fabric are pleasing to the eye, the buttons are silver toned, style is slightly western, and I can see getting a lot of wear out of this in the fall and spring in particular.I ordered this flannel with the intention of wearing it layered, or as a jacket. I am usually a small/medium, but ordered a large to ensure it is oversized enough. I am very happy with the size and fit. The outside of the flannel is a very soft cozy material, but the inside is kind of rough. Due to sensitive skin, I sometimes have a hard time with rough fabrics. I will likely need to reserve this for wear over long-sleeved shirts.This shirt is so comfortable it has the softest fleece! It has a real nice heavy material perfect for the cold. The buttons are a bit of a pain so I just leave it buttoned and put it on like a regular shirt. Those buttons are tough! This shirt fits very nicely and is true to size. It doesn't leave those open holes like some button downs do with a bigger bust if you know what I mean. I think this is a great buy and a super cute shirt!I love the fabric of this shirt. Very, very soft and the colors are really nice. The downside is that the buttons are incredibly stiff and hard to do up -- plus they are silver on a shirt with warm tones in it. Not what I would have picked. Presumably, the button holes will loosen over time. But all in all, a well-made shirt.The fabric is soft and the colors are great. The shirt is well made.I normally wear a small but ordered medium to try to make sure the sleeves were long enough but they still barely reach my hands.Let’s talk about this amazing flannel!Let’s talk quality… this is a thick flannel. It does not have a lining in it but it could be used as a lightweight coat for the fall. The buttons are sewn on well and the buttons look nice too.Let’s talk fit… for your reference I ordered a size medium. I am 5‘3“, 125 pounds, 34B. Normally when I order online I order a size small, but I wanted this to be oversized so I could layer it. The sleeve length is just right for me. I do have shorter arms and usually long sleeves are a little too long on me, but this fits just right.Let’s talk style… This pairs nicely with a dainty necklace, jeans and boots. It could be left open as a coat or buttoned up as a blouse. So versatile!Five stars!It took quite a while to receive, but it was worth the wait. I love it. It is soft and warm enough to be used as a little oversized jacket, which is good. I do layers, so this works. But I did have a hard time buttoning up.
