Fabric is see through and the knot in the front is much higher up than in the photo. Makes it almost like a belly shirt. Was disappointed because I really like this style.I washed it and hung it to dry it washed wellThe white was not white, like It looked in the photo. And now after washing it in cold water, the blank bled through on the white. It’s not wearable.Super cute, simply and stylish at the same time. Most importantly it's soft and comfortable, fits me perfectly.Ordered a size medium and it fit really well! I probably could have gotten away with a small but I like the sleeves being a little longer. Knot needed adjusted, and the back is a little long for me (tunic length) but the material is very soft and durable. Not a cheap shirt - I got it on sale and so worth it! Looks super cute with jeans or leggings.I own one other knotted hem shirt (different brand) and I've always liked the look of a knotted hem. Not this time. Before I get to why, let me mention the things I did like about this shirt:1) The fit is more or less true-to-size. I ordered a small (my usual), and except for the sleeve length (a little long), the fit was good in the shoulder area, and length was also good. The body area of the shirt is loose fitting, but it isn't boxy or baggy.2) The color block (I ordered black and white) is well-placed on the shirt.3) The price is reasonable.Now, for the reasons I'm not a fan of this particular knotted top:1) The material is very soft, but it arrived with deep, set-in wrinkles. I washed it (following mfg.instructions) and was careful to use delicate cycles, proper water temperature, etc. THE FABRIC STILL HAD DEEP WRINKLES (and still does).2) Because of those deep wrinkles *, the garment doesn't not hang/drape smoothly. It looks like you pulled it out of the hamper. In other words, it has a sloppy look to it.3) The fabric is also kind of clingy. Which makes it warm. Particularly for this time of year.4) The knot itself does not lay flat in front of the shirt. It sticks up/out from the shirt. IMO, this adds to the "pajama top from the hamper" look.In any case, I can still rate it 3 stars for the reasons I listed at the start of this review. (*Final note: the photos of the garment do not show wrinkling. That is most likely because the one the model is wearing was not compressed for weeks/months/years for shipping. Therefore, the shirt shown is wrinkle free.)This top is soft and comfortable, fits as expected, drapes well, and launders well. It did not shrink or twist when washed several times. It has retained its shape and color throughout. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to add to their wardrobe.The shirt was what I expected. It was soft and fit well, I got a few compliments on it already!
